Our Practice nurses are able to carry out blood testing, ear syringing, travel vaccination, childhood immunisation, dressings, blood pressure checks, spirometry, cervical smears, as well as family planning and urine testing. They can give advice on diet, smoking cessation and minor ailments and help run the various clinics offered by the surgery. They also offer routine health checks.

Link Worker for the Elderly
Our Link worker offers general assessment visits to our 75 and over age group once a year but more often if needed. She can arrange home care, equipment for safer living, benefit checks and local information on clubs, drop-in centres etc. Alex welcomes discussion on any other pressing non-medical needs. During the visit she is also able to do blood pressure checks.
Administrative and Reception staff
They are all here to you with booking appointments, new patient registration, answering the telephone, taking home visit requests, ordering repeat prescriptions and providing general (non-medical) information.
The IT Manager and supports the practice with IT as well as statistical work.
Mental Health Practitioner
A Mental Health Practitioner, visits the practice on Wednesdays (12pm to 4:30pm) for booked consultations. She is linked to the Community Mental Health Team locally and can refer patients for psychiatric or other intervention as necessary.
Smoking Cessation Therapist
(Specialist Stop Smoking Advisor & Harm Reduction Lead )
Tues (3pm -7:30pm) and Fridays (10am – 1pm)
